It depends on how its sticking out...
Normally hamsters tend to have a huge bum :P ( I have a black bear.... he has a huge bum) but one of my hamsters got an infection and now has a bum bigger then the other... since I have 2 then I can compair... so look at your hamster...see if its bum is red or something is sticking out (myn has a thing stickming out like a peanut.... really wierd :() then if it is go to a vet!
