files not sending/missing nick triggers in events

i have to reinstall almost every day or every other day because my files stop sending. reinstalling usually fixes the problem but wonder why it happens so often?? any clues? also in firserv/skin editor/events... the nick is omitted when a reply sent such as: PRIVMSG :QwIRC 0.89a server online List trigger:@ 3167 files 17468 MB Slots: 0/4 in use InQueue:0 why doesnt it show the nick? it does it in all the events
