QwIRC scripts and plugins

Unfortunately, support of mIRC scripts is not part of the development plan for QwIRC.
mIRC scripts are written in the mIRC scripting language, which is not part of the IRC communication protocol. It's a programming language that's specfic to that particular client.
QwIRC is an IRC client which supports the IRC communication protocol, but does not support the programming languages of other clients such as mIRC, pIRCh, xIRCon, etc...
QwIRC in the near future will allow DLL-based plugins that are designed speicfically for use with QwIRC, and in the longer term, a new QwIRC scripting language will be introduced, which will allow programmers to develop new scripts that will be unique to QwIRC.
