MFC42.dll problems

Just like the poster below, qwirc cases a page fault when connecting to the server. The program crahed while I was using it, and it seems to have corrupted the .dll or the link. I uninstalled qwirc and reinstalled- options to repair or remove... did both with the same results.
I also tried using the old backup of mfc42.dll but qwirc woulld crash before even opening. Any ideas? Qwirc ran GREAT before it locked- want to use again!
