FileScan fully supports drag+drop, so you can use filescan to search for music in your library and add them to QwIRC's playlist editor (FirePlay), or to Winamp, Media Player, anywhere.
The FirePlay player will play music from any playlist you open or create, and also announce, in order or shuffle mode, and also announce the selections to the channel when they're playing, just like other servers do.
It's also possible to play the music in 'mute' mode, with announcements sent to the chan, without them actually playing on your speakers.
