The server list that shipped originally with QwIRC is badly out of date at this point. However the problem should be solved my downloading and using the latest servers.ini from mIRC. To install you'll have to exit QwIRC and replace the existing servers.ini in the QwIRC folder with the one you download from mIRC, restart QwIRC and you should be good to go. You can download servers.ini here:
